Bach and Vivaldi – Sunday June 12, 2011

This concert is free and open to the public. The program will be at the New Hope Presbyterian Church. Directions and map link are below. We will have a “first reading” at 3:00. The second play through of the program will be at approximately 4:00 pm. Feel free to come for both sessions or just show up by 4:00 for the second reading. The program will be:

Violin Concertos by Antonio Vivaldi Featuring Brian Reagin

The Pittsboro Bach Society will present a free concert at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Pittsboro Community House, 65 Thompson Street, Pittsboro, NC 27312. The program will feature North Carolina Symphony Concertmaster Brian Reagin in the Concerto in a minor by Vivaldi. He will also perform the Concerto in d minor for 2 violins and the Concerto in b minor for 4 violins with Bach Society members Carol Feuer, Mara Shea, and Lin-ti Wang. Dean Herington will conduct.
Oh, and by the way – It’s our seventh anniversary!!!

Concert Featuring Brian Reagin – November 8, 2009

The Pittsboro Bach Society will present a free concert at 3:00 pm at the Pittsboro Community House, 65 Thompson Street, Pittsboro, NC 27312. The program will feature North Carolina Symphony Concertmaster Brian Reagin in the E Major Violin Concerto by J.S. Bach. He will also perform the Bach Double Violin Concerto in d minor with a different member of the Bach Society playing the second violin solo part in each movement. Our soloists will be Mara Shea, Ted Ehrhard, and Alan Mele. Dean Herington will conduct.
